Masjid Dato Bentara Luar
The Dato Bentara Luar Mosque was built in 1936 and is located on Jalan Ampuan. This mosque was once the main district mosque before the construction of the new mosque was completed in 1996, namely the Sultan Ismail Mosque located in Taman Kenangan Dato' Onn (Pesta). The main space of this mosque is still standing strong, namely the main prayer room in the middle of the mosque with the minaret which is still used to this day. The design of this mosque mixes Moghul and English architecture, which is the result of the influence of the design of buildings built at the same time. The effects of the original design of this mosque can still be seen to this day, especially the dome and minaret of the mosque. The windows and decorations inside clearly show the design of the colonial era.
