About our project
This final year project was initiated to address the growing need for a proper system for the profiling and curation of the rich heritage of Batu Pahat. Many heritage monuments, sites and buildings in the area hold significant cultural and educational value, but they are often overlooked, undocumented, or poorly maintained due to the absence of a centralized and accessible platform. Through the development of a digital platform that profiles and showcases heritage monuments, sites and buildings, this project aims to simplify access to cultural information for the general public. It also provides a space where the public can engage with. The core motivation behind the project is to safeguard the heritage legacy of Batu Pahat, raise public awareness, support educational initiatives, and boost tourism by offering a modern and interactive way for people to explore and appreciate the local heritage of Batu Pahat.
